Completing our study of form and matter, Urdhva (Sanskrit for Rising or Elevated) is a testament to verticality. In a collection defined by the broken (Chidra) and the whole (Purna), Urdhva represents the aspiration—the quiet, upward stretch of the soul.  

Hand-sculpted in our Jaipur atelier, this vessel reimagines the traditional Indian surahi through a stark, Brutalist lens. It abandons ornamentation for architecture. Rising from a grounded, organic base into a slender, elongated neck, the silhouette captures a moment of tension and grace—a frozen breath reaching for the light.

The finish is pure, spectral white, yet far from sterile. It bears Neelambara’s signature fossilized texture—a raw, tactile surface that feels like bleached coral or weathered limestone. It does not reflect the world around it; it holds the light, softening the atmosphere of any room it inhabits.
